MSM Portfolio

EHPSA is supporting significant research studies on HIV prevention for gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM). In March 2018 researchers from across the portfolio gathered to discuss common themes and messages emerging from across the portfolio. They found that MSM in the four study countries had similar challenges. These included low uptake of HIV prevention services, high levels of mental health issues and a common experience that public health facilities are not sensitive towards MSM nor do they have adequate clinical skills to deal with MSM sexual health.
